The Rolling Stones and FIFA partner for World Cup 2026 album and vinyl releases

FIFA and The Rolling Stones have announced a collaboration ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The partnership brings the band into the tournament’s official music programming and merchandise lines. The initiative is part of an ongoing strategic partnership with Universal Music Group aimed at connecting football and music through the FIFA Sound platform.
The collaboration features three limited-edition vinyl album covers created for the band’s upcoming Capitol Records album, “Foreign Tongues.” The special artwork merges traditional band imagery with official FIFA World Cup 2026 design elements. These limited quantities are designed as collectible keepsakes to mark the tournament.
Additionally, a special remix of the band’s new song, “In the Stars,” will be included on the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album. A dedicated line of clothing and headwear merchandise will also be released soon for public purchase.
FIFA’s Chief Business Officer, Romy Gai, stated that the collaboration celebrates the connection between football and music, adding the identity of the band to the global tournament experience.
