The seventh edition of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival took place over two nights at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Marking the 28th anniversary of the Crossroads Centre Antigua, the event featured collaborative performances across genres from an international lineup of guitarists.
Opening night highlights included an intro performance of “Crossroads” by Bill Murray alongside Eric Clapton, as well as joint sets featuring Jimmie Vaughan, Buddy Guy, and Clapton performing “Damn Right, I’ve Got the Blues.” The Tedeschi Trucks Band welcomed guest musicians Trey Anastasio, John Mayer, Doyle Bramhall II, and Clapton, who joined Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi for an electric rendition of “Layla.”
The second evening featured performances by the Del McCoury Band alongside Sierra Hull and Jerry Douglas, while Marcus King brought out guests including his father Marvin King, Joe Bonamassa, Tedeschi, and Trucks. Trey Anastasio and John Mayer performed a joint set, followed by Clapton’s headline performance featuring acoustic renditions of “Layla,” “Tears in Heaven,” and “Cocaine.”
Ticket information and access details for the event were managed through the venue and festival organizers. The gathering brought together dozens of guest artists across bluegrass, blues, rock, and jazz traditions to close out the two-day event.
Founded in 1998, the Crossroads Centre Antigua provides treatment and recovery support services. The 2026 festival marked the seventh installment of the multi-day concert series organized to support the institution.
