The rock band GHOST has announced the upcoming global release of their second feature film, titled 2 BIG TO RIG. The feature-length concert film will screen in cinemas and select IMAX theaters worldwide for a limited time starting on Wednesday, August 26.

The production was captured live on 16mm film during two sold-out performances at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City in September 2025. The recordings documented the live experience before an audience of nearly 40,000 attendees on the band’s phone-free Skeletour World Tour.

Amir Chamdin directed the project, which was produced by Tobias Forge, Kristen Mulderig, Rick Sales, Matilda E. Almeida, and Jessica Roulston. The film focuses entirely on the live performance rituals of frontman Papa V Perpetua and the Nameless Ghouls, while also incorporating behind-the-scenes interludes featuring the production crew members.

The concert setlist draws from the band’s six studio albums, including the 2025 album Skeletá. The footage also features individual non-album tracks such as Mary On A Cross, Kiss the Go-Goat, and The Future is a Foreign Land.

The project was created to share the tour experience with audiences in regions where staging the live production was logistically unfeasible, as well as for ticket holders affected by a canceled performance on the first scheduled date in Mexico City. Tickets for the worldwide screenings are scheduled to go on sale to the public on Thursday, July 23.
