Global girl group Katseye will release their new film, Katseye: Wild Hearts, on Disney+ and Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally beginning Oct. 16. The release follows the film’s limited theatrical run and the launch of the group’s current tour, Katseye: The Wildworld Tour.
The documentary feature examines the group’s career transition and connection with their fandom, known as Eyekons. It incorporates unseen footage, fan-submitted videos, and personal interviews with group members.
The film traces the group’s origin through the Dream Academy competition to their recent release of their third EP, Wild, which reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Coverage focuses on the group’s studio work, live performances, and development as a global pop music act.
Streaming access will be available to subscribers across both platforms on the October premiere date. Additional footage and official promotional announcements accompanied the initial distribution release.
Katseye: Wild Hearts was produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in partnership with HYBE x Geffen. The project was directed by filmmaker Nadia Hallgren.
