The LEGO Group, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, has announced the LEGO DC Batman: Batman Returns Batmobile set. The 2,269-piece product marks the first time the vehicle from director Tim Burton’s 1992 film Batman Returns has been produced in LEGO brick form.

Designed as a display model, the set recreates the vehicle’s silhouette, jet turbine rear engine, opening canopy, and detailed cockpit. The build also contains six hidden details based on moments from the movie, including The Penguin’s tracking device.

An automated transformation feature allows builders to press a button that releases the side panels and reveals the Batmissile escape vehicle. A lift-arm mechanism supports the conversion, enabling the set to be displayed as either the full Batmobile or the Batmissile.

The LEGO design team created three new pieces specifically for the model, including a new cowl element. The set also includes an exclusive Batman minifigure with a newly molded cape alongside a dedicated display stand featuring the Batman Returns logo.

The set will be available through early access for LEGO Insiders starting Sept. 1, 2026, followed by a general release on Sept. 4, 2026. Retail pricing is set at $229.99, €209.99, and £189.99 online and in official retail stores.
