System of a Down will play the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on Saturday, June 5, 2027. It will be the band’s first performance at the stadium, with Pierce the Veil as a special guest. The show is promoted by Live Nation and 30e.
The Rose Bowl date is System of a Down’s only North American show in 2027. The announcement came Monday, Oct. 19, after the band’s summer stadium tour of the U.K. and Europe, which included back-to-back sellouts in Paris, London and Warsaw.
The band also marked the 25th anniversary of its album Toxicity this past week. An exhibition at Beyond the Streets in Los Angeles invited fans into a world built from rare artifacts and ephemera from the Toxicity era.
Fans can register now for the artist presale, which begins Friday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m. PT. Registration closes Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 9 p.m. PT, and no code is required. The presale gives first access to tickets and VIP packages.
The general on-sale begins Monday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m. PT on Ticketmaster.com. System of a Down’s 2027 schedule also includes stadium shows in Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Wellington, New Zealand, from January to February.
System of a Down formed in Los Angeles and released its self-titled debut in 1998. The band has sold more than 42 million albums worldwide. Its members are Daron Malakian, Serj Tankian, Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmayan.
Pierce the Veil formed in San Diego in 2006. The trio of Vic Fuentes, Tony Perry and Jaime Preciado has sold millions of records and passed 2 billion streams. The band is currently on its I Can’t Hear You Tour, which has included sellouts at Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks and the Kia Forum.
