Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard has added four seasonal frozen menu items featuring pumpkin and apple butter flavors for a limited time.
The lineup includes a Pumpkin Frozen Coffee, which blends signature frozen coffee with pumpkin crème topped with whipped cream. The Pumpkin Pie Concrete combines vanilla frozen custard, pumpkin crème, and vanilla wafers.
For apple-flavored options, the Apple Butter Milkshake features vanilla frozen custard blended with apple butter flavor, finished with whipped cream and a cherry. The Apple Butter Concrete mixes vanilla frozen custard with apple butter flavor, vanilla wafers, and apple pie topping.
Carmela Hughley, senior vice president of marketing insights and innovation at Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, noted that the arrival of pumpkin marks the official start of fall for many customers, leading the chain to bring back the seasonal options.
The company also offers a mobile application reward program where new members can receive a free small ice, custard, or gelati after registering and making an initial purchase. The app provides birthday rewards and exclusive offers.
