The Boulet Brothers will host and perform at the Los Angeles Halloween Ball on Saturday, October 31, at the Globe Theatre. The three-level event runs from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. in downtown Los Angeles.
Two-time Grammy nominee Poppy will headline the musical lineup with a DJ set, alongside a main floor performance by DJ Mateo Segade. Underground event organizers HUMP Events and VICE have partnered with the hosts to curate music, dancers, and stage presentations across the venue’s floors.
The event’s main stage program includes performances by The Boulet Brothers, Rasputin’s Marionettes featuring human-sized puppets, a vogue showcase by House of Ninja, and a burlesque revue by Jake Dupree. The basement space will feature sets from DJ FLABBERGAST, Nite Crème, and DJ Naté.
Attendees can enter a costume contest offering a $1,000 cash grand prize. Previous contest winners have subsequently joined the cast of the hosts’ television show, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula.
The hosts, who are two-time Emmy nominees, created and direct The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula on Shudder. Their other creative credits include The Boulet Brothers’ Halfway to Halloween TV Special and The Boulet Brothers’ Holiday of Horrors.
