Musician, producer, and songwriter Patrick Droney has released his third studio album, titled Made You Look, through Warner Records. The 12-track project marks his first full-length album release in three years following 2023’s Subtitles for Feelings.
Written and produced by Droney, the album features a guest duet with singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini on the track “Math of Us.” Droney made his directorial debut with the accompanying music video for the single, which was filmed in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
The album also includes writing and production contributions from Stephen Wilson Jr., Konrad Snyder, mixing engineer Jonathan Low, drummer Bryan Devendorf, and string arranger Davide Rossi. The recording process took place across studios in New York and Nashville.
To promote the launch, Droney performed the single “Back In My Body” on The Kelly Clarkson Show. The appearance follows his debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville earlier this month.
Droney will launch a North American tour in support of the record, beginning October 14 in Los Angeles. The tour schedule includes stops at venues such as the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Brooklyn Steel, and the Belasco Theatre.
