The Lego Group and The Pokémon Company International announced five new additions to the Lego Pokémon product line. The upcoming assortment introduces the first-ever Lego Pokémon trainer minifigures alongside specialized Pokémon figures. The collection includes standalone creature builds and interactive display sets.
A 1,083-piece set recreates the Legendary Pokémon Rayquaza in brick form. The build depicts the Sky Pillar location from the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire video games. The set also includes an exclusive minifigure of the character Lorekeeper Zinnia.
A separate 1,190-piece set allows builders to construct a fully posable model of the fire-type Pokémon Arcanine. The build is designed to replicate the signature fur and physical stance of the Kanto region character. Another individual character set features a 757-piece version of Munchlax that stands over 18 centimeters tall with a posable head and arms.
The largest addition is the 2,368-piece Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball, which opens to reveal internal scenes like Professor Oak’s laboratory and a battle area. This set contains figures of Pikachu and Eevee, as well as three trainer minifigures representing Red, Professor Oak, and a Picnicker character. A 930-piece Up-Scaled Red Minifigure set will also feature a larger version of the trainer character with an attached backpack and a posable frame.
The individual Rayquaza, Arcanine, and Munchlax sets are scheduled to launch at retail on August 1, 2026. The Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball and the Up-Scaled Red Minifigure sets will follow with a release date of October 1, 2026. Pre-orders for the items open today through the official Lego website.
