Big League Productions has revealed the main cast for the upcoming national tour of Mystic Pizza: A New Musical. Kendall Skye Beccera, Chloë Lezotte, and Lexxi B Frilles will star as best friends Kat, Daisy, and Jojo in the stage adaptation of the classic film set in Mystic, Connecticut.
The tour is scheduled to open on September 26, 2026, at the Clemens Center in Elmira, New York. Following its premiere, the production will travel across the country with scheduled stops in major cities, including Dallas, Detroit, and St. Paul.
Beccera, who won Best Lead Actress at the 2022 Jimmy Awards, will play Kat Arujo, while Lezotte stars as Daisy Arujo and Frilles plays JoJo Arujo. All three lead performers are making their national tour debuts with this production, which features direction and choreography by Jennifer Werner.
The musical adapts the original Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, featuring a book by Sandy Rustin and arrangements by Carmel Dean. The soundtrack incorporates a collection of popular 1980s and 1990s songs, including “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Hold On,” and “Manic Monday.”
The creative team behind the production includes scenic designer Joshua Warner, lighting designer Dalton Hamilton, costume designer Jen Caprio, and sound designer Matt Kraus. Music supervision is handled by Andrew Graham, with executive production by Daniel Sher for Big League Productions.
