Mission Foods launches new protein and grain free chip lines

Mission Foods has introduced four new varieties to its product lineup. The company, known for its tortillas and wraps, is expanding its offerings with new tortilla-style chip options focused on alternative ingredients.

The product launch includes two distinct categories within the brand’s chip selection. Consumers can now choose between protein-focused options and grain-free varieties made with alternative ingredients.

The protein line features Chile Limón and Jalapeño flavors, offering 10 grams of plant-based protein per serving. These varieties are gluten-free, vegan, and designed to serve as a source of protein.

The grain-free lineup includes Sea Salt and Hint of Lime varieties. These chips are made using cassava flour, chia seeds, and avocado oil, providing a source of fiber made entirely with non-GMO ingredients.

Company leadership noted that the expansion responds directly to consumer demand for increased protein and fiber in everyday snacks. The goal was to provide functional nutrition options without sacrificing taste or texture.

The new chip varieties are currently available nationwide at Kroger and affiliated grocery stores. Additional retailers across the country will begin carrying the products throughout the fall season.
