Apple TV celebrated the upcoming season two premiere of “Stick” on Oct. 28 with an event at Topgolf in El Segundo, California. The 10-episode second season premieres Wednesday, Nov. 4, with two episodes, followed by one episode weekly until Dec. 30 on Apple TV.

The event included a conversation with the cast and creators behind the series, along with activities inspired by the show. Attendees included star and executive producer Owen Wilson, stars Peter Dager, Lilli Kay, Mariana Treviño and Rex Linn, and creator and executive producer Jason Keller. Executive producers Ben Silverman and Guymon Casady also attended, along with golf enthusiast Dan Rapaport.

Guests interacted with the cast before heading to the Topgolf bays for gameplay. The evening ended with a clubhouse conversation moderated by Rapaport featuring Wilson, Dager, Kay, Treviño and Linn.

“Stick” is a feel-good comedy about a found family, set in the world of golf. Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed 20 years ago. After his marriage collapses and he is fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce bets his future on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi, played by Dager.

In season two, Santi takes the next step toward professional golf and discovers how quickly the game changes when talent becomes expectation. Urged on by his former rival Clark Ross, played by Timothy Olyphant, Pryce bets on himself and launches a comeback in hopes of becoming the oldest golfer ever to win a major. He is joined by new coach Amanda, played by Rhea Seehorn, and caddie Mitts, played by Marc Maron.

The ensemble cast includes Wilson, Dager, Maron, Treviño, Kay, Judy Greer and Olyphant. Season two welcomes Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Seehorn, alongside John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle. Broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman return for guest appearances.

“Stick” is produced by Apple Studios and showrun by Keller, who executive produces alongside Wilson, Silverman and Casady. Christopher Moynihan, Rodney Ferrell, Howard T. Owens, Drew Buckley, Lee Eisenberg and Bill Callahan also serve as executive producers.
