Rock band Hole has released physical reissues of its first three studio albums, Pretty On The Inside, Live Through This, and Celebrity Skin. The releases are available in various formats, including black vinyl, colored vinyl, zoetrope vinyl, and CD.
Hole guitarist and co-founder Eric Erlandson personally curated the reissue project, managing the packaging restoration and mastering. Pretty On The Inside and its single “Teenage Whore” were newly remastered, while Live Through This and Celebrity Skin received new vinyl mastering.
The 35th anniversary edition of Pretty On The Inside includes a limited two-LP splatter vinyl version featuring gatefold artwork, a band photo lithograph, and the 12-inch “Teenage Whore” single with bonus tracks “Burn Black” and “Drown Soda.” The two bonus tracks are also making their streaming debut alongside the physical release.
The Live Through This and Celebrity Skin reissues feature zoetrope vinyl options that display animated video loops drawn from the band’s original music videos. Independent record stores will additionally offer exclusive Record Store Day Essential color vinyl editions of all three albums on October 23, 2026.
Recorded in 1991 with co-producers Don Fleming and Kim Gordon, Pretty On The Inside featured original members Courtney Love, Eric Erlandson, Jill Emery, and Caroline Rue. The group followed with the platinum-certified Live Through This in 1994, recorded with producers Paul Q. Kolderie and Sean Slade and featuring late bassist Kristen Pfaff and drummer Patty Schemel.
Hole released Celebrity Skin in 1998 with bassist Melissa Auf der Maur and producer Michael Beinhorn. The album debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart, achieved platinum status, and earned four Grammy Award nominations.
