Full schedule announced for 10th anniversary Prince Celebration in Minneapolis

The full schedule for the 10th anniversary “Celebration of Life” honoring Prince has been announced, featuring five days of concerts, panel discussions, and community events scheduled for June 3–7 across Paisley Park and downtown Minneapolis.
Marking a decade since the musician’s passing, the event will feature the first onstage reunion of members from both of Prince’s primary bands, The Revolution and The New Power Generation. The combined lineup features Bobby Z, Lisa Coleman, Morris Hayes, Tony M, Levi Seacer, Sonny T, Queen Cora Coleman, Cassandra O’Neal, Greg Boyer, Mike Phillips, and Kenni Holmen, alongside vocalists Liv Warfield, Ashley Tamar, and The Twins.
Additional special guest performers and appearances scheduled throughout the week include Chaka Khan, Morris Day, Miguel, Tevin Campbell, Bilal, Kat Graham, Bootsy Collins, Sounds of Blackness, and the production leads of the Purple Rain musical, Kris Kollins and Rachel Webb.
“This year’s Celebration honors Prince’s extraordinary musical genius yet more importantly, it honors his spirit, humanity, and love that defined his life,” said L. Londell McMillan, Prince’s former attorney, manager, and friend. “Ten years later, his music continues to unite people across generations and around the world, but what feels especially important right now is creating space for community, healing, joy, and reflection, values Prince carried with him every day.”
The programming includes presentations of unreleased music and archival concert footage from Prince’s vault, as well as individual conversations with Bootsy Collins, Morris Day, and the production duo Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Educational panels will include “Women of Prince’s Musical Legacy” and “Next 10 Years – Vault & Future Plans.”
A free, all-ages Downtown Block Party will take place Saturday, June 6, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Prince mural located at 101 North 9th Street. Held in partnership with the City of Minneapolis, the event will feature a two-hour community sing-along led by musical director Sanford Moore and a 100-person choir. The tribute takes place the day before what would have been Prince’s 68th birthday.
Other musical events include a kickoff party at First Avenue featuring DJ Lenka Paris and Chaka Khan, and a Club 3121 Jam Session with DJ Rashida, Liv Warfield, and Ashley Tamar. Paisley Park will also host open house experiences, an onsite food drive, and Maya McClean’s “Awakening” sound healing event. Attendees can also utilize a new Paisley Park mobile application for real-time schedule adjustments.
The 2026 event will incorporate citywide community initiatives tied to Prince’s “Love 4 One Another” philosophy, including the Eat Street Initiative to support local independent businesses, memorial visits honoring George Floyd, Renee Good, and Alex Pretti, and a spotlight on the Prince Legacy’s Youth Mental Health Initiative.
Daily events include a Prince Night at the Minnesota Twins baseball game on June 4, a screening of the film Under the Cherry Moon, and a VIP Lake Minnetonka boat cruise on June 7. Single tickets, day passes, and VIP packages are currently available through the Paisley Park website.
