Dwarves announce new LP ‘Jenkem’ scheduled for June release

The legendary punk band Dwarves has announced a new full-length studio album, “Jenkem,” set to arrive June 5 via Greedy Records and distributed by MVD. The release marks a return to the band’s fastest and most aggressive style, drawing comparisons to the high-velocity hardcore and thrash influences found in their earlier work.
Produced by Blag Dahlia and recorded by Andy Carpenter, “Jenkem” features 13 short tracks described by the band as “violent bursts” along with one mid-tempo selection. The album is intended to channel the spirit of the band’s confrontational “Blood, Guts & Pussy” era. The track listing includes titles such as “Drug Lust,” “Psychosis Tripping,” and “Be Ruthless Destroy.”
To support the release, the band is launching a series of live and animated videos and a collection of 7-inch releases. Dwarves will also embark on an extensive tour through North America and Europe. The run begins in May with Screeching Weasel in cities including Portland and Denver, followed by fall dates alongside The Exploited and Total Chaos. The European leg will feature co-headlining dates with Eye Hate God and appearances at major festivals such as Hellfest and Azkena Rock Festival.
The current lineup for the band includes Snupac, Rex Everything, The Fresh Prince of Darkness, Mike Pygmie, Ginger, Andy Now, Sgt. Saltpeter, and Blag Jesus. Since their formation, the group has maintained a reputation for a volatile and unpredictable live presence, with All Music noting that few bands have gone further to establish such a notorious standing in punk rock history.
