Radiohead has unveiled “Motion Picture House,” a large-scale audiovisual installation featuring “KID A MNESIA,” which will tour major North American cities beginning this May.

The project is a physical actualization of the digital exhibition originally released on Epic Games and PS5. It features a film constructed from artwork created by Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood during the recording of the band’s landmark albums Kid A and Amnesiac, set to a soundtrack derived from the original multitracks.

The installation will utilize a custom-built, six-point surround sound system and host galleries featuring full-scale artwork from the era. Yorke described the narrative of the film as one “in which a Monster is trapped in a derelict museum of the lost and forgotten.”

Following a debut in California, the tour will travel to Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, and San Francisco. To combat ticket bots, the band is utilizing the “Fair AXS” system, requiring fans to pre-register at kida-mnesia.com for a chance to purchase tickets.

The pre-sale begins Wednesday, April 22, with general public sales starting Friday, April 24, at 10 a.m. local time. Click here to purchase tickets.
