Conan Gray expands latest album with ‘Wishbone’ deluxe release

Conan Gray

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Conan Gray released the deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed album “Wishbone” on Friday via Republic Records. The expanded collection introduces five new tracks, led by the single “Door.”

The new material, which includes songs titled “The Best,” “Do I Dare,” “House That Always Rains,” and “Moths,” was written and recorded by Gray following the release of the original album. Executive produced by longtime collaborator Dan Nigro, the deluxe edition aims to further deepen the emotional landscape established in the initial project.

Originally debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Album Sales chart and reaching the Top 3 of the Billboard 200, “Wishbone” represents the most successful debut week of Gray’s career to date. The project signaled a return to his singer-songwriter roots while being produced by Nigro alongside Ethan Gruska, Noah Conrad, Luka Kloser, and Elvira Anderfjärd.

The release coincides with Gray’s sold-out “Wishbone World Tour,” which recently concluded a North American arena run featuring headlining shows at Madison Square Garden in New York and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Gray is now taking the tour across Europe before scheduled performances in Australia and New Zealand later this year.

A native of Texas, Gray has amassed more than 12 billion global streams throughout his career. His 2020 debut “Kid Krow” featured the 4x-platinum single “Heather,” which Gray wrote individually and has since surpassed 2 billion streams. He has followed that success with two other Top 15 albums, “Superache” and “Found Heaven,” while establishing himself as a creative director for his own visual aesthetics and fashion-forward brand.
