Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced an expanded offer for National Avocado Day, pairing its hand-mashed guacamole with free chips for the first time. The promotion will run across two consecutive days on July 31 and August 1.
To redeem the deal, customers must purchase a full-priced entree through the Chipotle app or official website. Applying the promo code AVO2026 at checkout adds a regular side of chips and guacamole to eligible digital orders.
The limited-time offer applies to participating locations in the United States and Canada. The promotion requires ordering chips and guacamole as a combined side, and it excludes in-restaurant transactions, catering orders, third-party delivery platforms, and kid’s meals.
Chipotle prepares its signature guacamole daily in restaurants, using 48 ripe Hass avocados per batch. According to brand executives, extending the promotion to two days allows fans extra time to participate in the annual event.
Ahead of the promotion, Chipotle is launching social media content featuring brand superfans Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi on July 30. The video content takes viewers behind the scenes at a California avocado farm to show how the fruit is grown, harvested, and prepared for restaurant locations.
