Boom Ball will launch its 30-city tour for the 2027 season with an opening stop in Ontario at ONT Field on February 27, 2027. The event marks the first appearance for the high-energy baseball show in the Greater Los Angeles area.
The centerpiece of the upcoming season is a hologram re-creation of Babe Ruth’s legendary Called Shot from the 1932 World Series. Using projection mapping, holographic technology, and immersive audio, the presentation will serve as the finale for each stop on the tour through an agreement with Luminary Group, the representative for the Babe Ruth League and family.
Each two-hour event features six fast-play innings between two co-ed rosters, the Lucky Llamas and the Chaos Crew. The competition combines traditional baseball and softball play with trick plays, stunts, personality-driven moments, and post-game fireworks.
Tickets for the 2027 tour are distributed through an online lottery system at the official tour website, with select dates already sold out. General Manager Allan Benavides of the Ontario Tower Buzzers confirmed ONT Field as the first stadium nationwide to host the new presentation.
Boom Ball is entering its second season of national touring following its inaugural run. The organization maintains an ongoing charitable partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, incorporating fundraising initiatives into each tour stop.
