Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms are set to hit the road July 6 for a 36-date co-headlining summer tour, joined by Spin Doctors as special guests.

The run opens at the Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park and will stretch across the country before wrapping September 19. The itinerary includes major stops at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and SummerStage in New York City’s Central Park.

Tickets are on sale now.

The tour arrives following a joint appearance on the 2026 American Idol season finale, where members of both bands performed “Hey Jealousy” and “Hook” alongside Season 24 contestants Jake Thistle and Jesse Findling.

Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms previously toured together in 2025, a run that included a televised appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and helped set the foundation for this year’s expanded schedule.

The 2026 run coincides with several milestones across all three bands. Blues Traveler is marking the 30th anniversary of “Run-Around,” while Gin Blossoms are celebrating 30 years of Congratulations I’m Sorry, featuring “Follow You Down” and the GRAMMY-nominated “As Long as It Matters.”

Spin Doctors also join the lineup while recognizing the 35th anniversary of Pocket Full of Kryptonite, home to “Two Princes.”

Blues Traveler frontman John Popper said the chemistry between the three bands carried over from last summer’s run.

“It’s rare when a package feels so much like home that it carries a spirit which becomes tangible to an audience,” Popper said, referencing the shared history among the acts.

Guitarist Chan Kinchla pointed to audience response from last year’s shows as a reason for continuing the collaboration.

“Back by popular demand,” Kinchla said. “We had such a blast last summer… we decided to bring the tour to the half of the country we missed.”

Gin Blossoms members noted the unusual nature of repeating the same touring package in consecutive summers while highlighting the chemistry onstage.

Spin Doctors echoed that sentiment, pointing to strong audience response and teasing additional collaborations during the 2026 run.

The tour will continue through September, with stops across major U.S. venues.
