Alliance Authentic expands collectible preservation services to Funko and vinyl records

Alliance Authentic has expanded its specialized media preservation services beyond vinyl records for the first time to include pop culture toy figures. The company is introducing permanent preservation formats for collectible figures manufactured by Funko and Handmade by Robots. This inventory expansion coincides with a structural redesign of the digital platform intended to alter how collectors track and transfer physical assets.

The corporate entity operates as a specialized division under parent organization Alliance Entertainment, which is currently the largest distributor of physical media within the United States. The preservation model targets a broad demographic of modern entertainment consumers and pop culture memorabilia buyers. To support the launch, the business has processed newly preserved vinyl record pressings from musical artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Charli XCX, and Karol G.

The physical processing method requires every certified release to meet specific standardized requirements regarding curation, numerical assignment, and limited volume availability. Workers encapsulate each collectible directly in its original, uncirculated state to prevent environmental degradation or physical wear over time. The processing system establishes final, fixed production counts for vinyl record runs that cannot be altered or expanded in future manufacturing cycles.

Individual items receive an embedded near-field communication security tag containing a digital identity that automatically transfers data to future owners. This tracking technology documents the physical condition, numeric sequence, and comprehensive ownership lineage of the item through secondary market transactions. The mechanical encapsulation and digital tracking process are designed to preserve specific imports, rare variants, and special packaging elements like Japanese obi strips.

According to statements from vice president of sales and marketing Jeffrey Smith, the processing framework handles pop culture figures with the same verification standards applied to fine art or rare musical releases. The integrated tracking system is meant to secure individual investment values across multiple generations of hobbyists. Detailed documentation explaining the physical encapsulation process and digital verification protocols is available through the official website of the company.
