Rhino High Fidelity has expanded its specialized reel-to-reel audiophile series with the release of two limited-edition classic rock reissues. The new products feature Fleetwood Mac’s self-titled 1975 album and ZZ Top’s 1973 studio album titled Tres Hombres. Both individual album editions are strictly limited to a production run of 500 copies worldwide and are sold exclusively through the official corporate website.
The manufacturing process utilizes real-time duplication sourced from a precise one-to-one copy of the original flat analog master tapes. The production team records the audio at 15 inches per second using half-track quarter-inch tape formats that follow the standard IEC equalization protocol. The physical music media is wound onto a ten-and-a-half-inch metal reel using premium Recording the Masters LPR90 tape stock to ensure playback durability.
The eponymous 1975 Fleetwood Mac release marked the formal arrival of musicians Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks alongside established members Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, and John McVie. The album eventually reached the top position on the domestic music charts after more than a year of continuous promotional touring. The nine-times platinum record features a full tracklist of eleven songs, including the charting radio singles “Over My Head,” “Rhiannon,” and “Say You Love Me.”

The 1973 ZZ Top album Tres Hombres represents the commercial breakthrough for the Texas blues-rock trio consisting of Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard. Recorded at Robin Hood Studios alongside longtime producer Bill Ham, the ten-track album earned the band its first gold record while peaking at number eight on the Billboard 200 chart. The final reel-to-reel audio tracklist preserves the original album sequence, including notable tracks like “Waitin’ For The Bus” and “La Grange.”
The premium audio division continues to utilize the broader Warner Music catalog to select influential historic albums from genres spanning rock, pop, jazz, and soul. The company pairs the technical tape duplication process with archival-grade physical packaging designed to match the original art layout of the historical releases. The ongoing series aims to eliminate the surface noise and typical groove wear associated with traditional vinyl record formats.
