The Lego Group has unveiled the Lego Ideas Downton Abbey set, a 4,711-piece building model designed for adult fans. Inspired by the television series and films created by Carnival Films, the set recreates the fictional Crawley family home based on Highclere Castle.
The model spans 12 inches high, 17.5 inches wide, and 6.5 inches deep, featuring a modular design that allows builders to access different levels. The interior includes the grand dining room, main hall, and library on the upper floor, alongside the kitchen, servants’ hall, and Mr. Carson’s office below.
Period details reflect the historical transition between candlelight and early electricity, including an electric mixer in the kitchen and a candlestick telephone in the butler’s office. The set also incorporates period portraits, formal table settings, and a servants’ dining table arranged according to household rank.
Thirteen minifigures representing the Season 6 cast are included, such as the Dowager Countess, Lord Grantham, Lady Mary, Mr. Carson, and Mrs. Hughes. Each minifigure features double-sided face prints, with specific clothing elements designed for seated positions at the dining table.
Czech fan designer Sebastian Veselka originally submitted the concept to the Lego Ideas crowdsourcing platform under the name BRO3. The submission reached the required 10,000 community votes in three months before being selected for official production by the company.
Hidden details throughout the build reference both the television series and the fan designer. Features include a servants’ bell board with a custom label, miniature newspapers bearing the designer’s initials, and a heart-shaped tree base near the exterior cedar tree.
The Lego Ideas Downton Abbey set is priced at $349.99 and will be available to Lego Insiders members on Oct. 1, 2026. General availability begins Oct. 4, 2026, through Lego stores and online, with digital 3D building instructions provided in the Lego Builder app.
