The Great South Bay Music Festival has expanded its programming with new musical acts, expanded food options, and an artisan marketplace for its upcoming 18th anniversary event. The four-day gathering is scheduled to take place from July 23 through July 26 at Shorefront Park in Patchogue Village.
Organizers announced that the improvisational trio LaMP, featuring musicians Russ Lawton, Ray Paczkowski, and Scott Metzger, will join the Saturday lineup. Additionally, a special Bob Weir Celebration honoring the Grateful Dead co-founder will take place on Sunday, featuring a tribute performance by Andy Falco, Rob Eaton, Alwyn Robinson, Eric Finland, Leslie Mendelson, and Pat Falco.
These newly announced acts join a scheduled performance roster that already includes My Morning Jacket, Sublime, Govt. Mule, Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, The Used, and Little Feat. The festival grounds will feature an artisan marketplace showcasing independent regional makers selling handcrafted jewelry, vintage clothing, and custom art.
An expanded food village will offer items ranging from lobster rolls, barbecue, and brick oven pizza to dumplings, crepes, and smoothies. Beverage options will include selections from regional and national brands such as Blue Point Brewing Company, Greenport Harbor Brewing, Bridge Lane Wines, and Athletic Brewing Company.
The event will continue its philanthropic traditions by donating a percentage of ticket sales to support Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. Organizers are also bringing back the Storyville Tent, which provides complimentary exhibition space for local nonprofit organizations dedicated to veterans, suicide prevention, environmental conservation, and pet rescue.
