U2 and Third Man Records have announced an exclusive independent record store edition of Carnaval De Luz, the band’s sixteenth studio album. Scheduled for release on Nov. 13, 2026, on Interscope Records, the pressings will be distributed specifically to independent music retailers.
The special release features yellow vinyl along with custom yellow and black packaging created using Third Man Records’ signature color scheme. Creative direction for the project was led by Gavin Friday alongside art direction and design from Shaughn McGrath and the Third Man team.

The album release coincides with the 50th anniversary of U2’s formation, following a year that included the release of two standalone six-track EPs, Days of Ash and Easter Lily. Carnaval De Luz represents the group’s first complete album of all-new material in nine years.
Pre-orders for the limited-edition vinyl pressing are available through participating independent music retailers ahead of the November release date. Fans and collectors can access purchasing options directly through local independent record shops.

Formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1976 by Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr., U2 has released 15 studio albums and sold 175 million records worldwide. The band has earned 22 Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005.
