Investigation Discovery has announced the upcoming broadcast schedule for its midsummer television lineup, featuring the return of several true crime documentary series. The programming block is led by the sophomore season of A Killer Among Friends, which is scheduled to premiere on Monday, July 20, at 9:00 PM Eastern and Pacific Time.

The six-episode season is executive-produced and narrated by Jennifer Love Hewitt. The production focuses on criminal cases where a single offense impacts a close group of associates, with subsequent episodes tracking investigations in Florida, North Carolina, and California.

Individual episodes slated for the upcoming broadcast cycle include a July 27 broadcast focusing on an Auburn University graduate and an August 3 segment concerning a missing teenager in Georgia. Later episodes in August will cover investigations involving a California theater group and a teenage baseball rivalry in Davis, California.

The television network also scheduled mid-month premieres for two additional returning true crime programs. Body Cam, a series documenting law enforcement operations using police camera footage, will debut a new season on Wednesday, July 15, at 9:00 PM Eastern and Pacific Time.

The operational documentary is followed immediately at 10:00 PM Eastern and Pacific Time by the season premiere of 911: Did the Killer Call?. The series explores the emergency audio recordings utilized by investigators to gather clues during criminal investigations.
