HGTV will premiere 40 new episodes this July. The network is launching two new series alongside latest seasons of its established renovation programs. The summer programming includes a mix of real estate hunting, landscaping overhauls, and construction competitions.

The competitive renovation series Renovation Resort Showdown returns for an eight-episode season on Wednesday, July 1, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Real estate expert Scott McGillivray and builder Bryan Baeumler will guide four North American design teams as they renovate a lakeside resort in the Kawartha Lakes region. The teams have eight weeks and a 150,000-dollar budget to complete the cabins. This season introduces an additional 100,000 dollars in weekly challenge prizes on top of the final 100,000-dollar grand prize.

A new 12-episode landscaping series, Worst Yard on the Block, debuts on Wednesday, July 15, with back-to-back episodes at 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Two design duos, Tucker Kincaid with Jared “J.Paul” Foster and Blake Hawthorn with Margo Fairchild, will travel to find overgrown or neglected residential yards. The experts will perform outdoor makeovers over the course of a few days to rectify code fines and landscaping issues.

Contractor Mike Holmes returns with his children, Michael Holmes Jr. and Sherry Holmes, for a six-episode season of Holmes on Homes: Building a Legacy on Sunday, July 19, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The family team repairs residential structures damaged by failed do-it-yourself projects or poor contractor work. The premiere episode focuses on overhauling an underutilized basement and resolving electrical hazards in a residential bungalow.

The reality series Ugliest House in America returns on Monday, July 20, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT with an expanded format consisting of six one-hour episodes. Comedian Retta hosts the show, touring 20 properties across the country to critique unusual designs and layout choices. The property named the country’s ugliest house will receive a home renovation from network designer Alison Victoria during the season finale.

Texas real estate agent Noel Collier stars in the new eight-episode series Extreme Buyers Club, premiering Tuesday, July 21, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The show tracks Collier as she searches the market for unconventional real estate listings that match specific buyer requests. Featured clients include a buyer looking for land to raise llamas, a couple seeking a haunted property, and a professional mermaid requiring water access.

Episodes of Worst Yard on the Block, Ugliest House in America, and Extreme Buyers Club will be available to stream the following day on HBO Max. Behind-the-scenes content and updates are available through the network’s website and social media channels.
