The Rolling Stones and Marvel are collaborating on a collector’s vinyl series for the band’s upcoming album, Foreign Tongues. The exclusive U.S. series features five collectible vinyl variants inspired by prominent Marvel characters. Each package includes a custom comic book insert with artwork designed to match that specific edition.
The collection highlights Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Thor, and The Hulk. Marvel illustrators created exclusive artwork for this release to cross over with the band’s aesthetic. The specialized variants are available for pre-order now and will officially release on July 10.
The upcoming studio album from Capitol Records contains 14 tracks. The project follows their previous Grammy Award-winning release, Hackney Diamonds. The band has already introduced the new material through the lead single “In the Stars” and the opening track “Rough and Twisted.”
The band completed the tracking for Foreign Tongues in less than a month at Metropolis Studios in West London. Core members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood worked alongside producer Andrew Watt on the sessions. The material features performances from long-term collaborators Darryl Jones, Steve Jordan, and Matt Clifford.
The recordings also feature a contribution from the late Charlie Watts, captured during one of his final sessions before his death in 2021. The tracking includes guest appearances from several high-profile musicians. Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers all contributed to the final tracks.
