Shania Twain announces seventh studio album, ‘Little Miss Twain’

Shania Twain, the top-selling female country-pop artist of all time, announced Wednesday the upcoming release of her seventh studio album, Little Miss Twain.
The album is scheduled for release on July 24 via Republic Nashville. The lead single, “Dirty Rosie,” was released alongside the announcement. According to Republic Records, the project serves as a return to Twain’s roots, blending country, pop, rock, soul, and bluegrass.
“A lot of Little Miss Twain is reflective of my teens, my roots as well as the energy of the rock and R&B I loved so much, but still with that Western twang,” Twain said. “Where I’m from you don’t go anywhere on a horse — you go on a snowmobile. I was dreaming about the Western lifestyle and I was living in a very different world than where I ended up.”

The five-time Grammy Award winner will return to the road prior to the album’s release, joining Harry Styles for a 12-night sold-out residency at London’s Wembley Stadium. Following the London dates, Twain is scheduled for a headlining performance at Thomond Park Stadium in Limerick City, Ireland.
The new collection follows her 2017 comeback album Now and her 2023 release Queen of Me. Twain, who has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, remains the only artist to have released three consecutive Diamond-certified albums.
The announcement notes that while the title references Twain’s early years singing in bars as a child, the songwriting draws on decades of experience and perspective.
Little Miss Twain is currently available for pre-order.
