Singer-songwriter Amma releases debut project ‘Middle Child’

London-based singer and songwriter Amma has released her debut project, Middle Child, available now on all digital streaming platforms via The Orchard. The 10-track collection marks a significant milestone for the artist, who has previously written songs for established acts such as FLO, Nao, and Sam Feldt.
For the new project, Amma collaborated with a roster of high-profile producers, including Bongo By The Way, Joel Malka, and Gustav Landell. The tracks, which include the previously released singles “If You Don’t Love Me” and “Blame Game,” explore themes of identity and universal emotional experiences.
“Instead of creating an album that tells one singular story, I wanted to create a fuller body of work that touches on many different emotions and experiences that anyone can connect to, depending on what they need in that moment,” Amma said. “As a lot of this project deals with finding my identity, I chose to call it ‘Middle Child’ so people could understand the lens these emotions and experiences are written from.”
The release arrives as Amma continues her role as the supporting act for her sister, RAYE, on a sold-out North American tour. The tour includes two nights at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on April 15 and 16, as well as upcoming performances at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Amma is also scheduled to make her Leeds Festival debut on Aug. 30.
