Yuengling partners with veteran nonprofit for the countrys upcoming 250th anniversary

D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. is launching a series of commemorative initiatives to honor the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. Founded in 1829, the family-owned company operates as America’s oldest brewery.

The company has introduced limited-edition 12-ounce Traditional Lager cans and packaging specifically designed for the national milestone. Retail stores across Yuengling’s 30-state distribution footprint are using these specially designed cases to construct large-scale American flag displays.

The commemorative cans feature the company’s ongoing partner, Team Red, White & Blue. This nonprofit organization focuses on enriching the lives of veterans through health and wellness programs.

As part of the celebration, the brewery released a special installment of its Behind the Brewery video series focused on American history and the company’s past. The company is also running social media campaigns with historical themes and working with local news outlets to share its narrative.

In the company’s hometown of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, employees participated in Schuylkill County’s America 250 PA Parade. The entry featured a large float constructed out of Yuengling beer cases.

The brewery continues to offer free tours of its original historic site, museum, and gift shop in Pottsville. The company also operates the Yuengling Draft Haus & Kitchen in Tampa, Florida, which features beer-inspired food, tours, and events.
