Wyndham Rewards has launched Homes & Havens, a new collection of professionally managed vacation homes and distinctive stays where members can earn and redeem points. The program has about 129 million enrolled members. Homes & Havens is available now on the Wyndham Rewards website.
Homes & Havens launches with nearly 800 homes and villas across the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe. Hundreds more accommodations, including cabins, yurts and tiny homes, are expected to be added in the coming months. Options range from poolside weekends in the Florida Keys and ski trips in the Rockies to private villas in St. Barts and cliffside retreats overlooking the Mediterranean.
Members earn 5 points per U.S. dollar spent on qualified bookings. Qualified nights also count toward unlocking the next Member Level, Wyndham’s version of status. Properties can be booked online starting today, though select villas require an online reservation request followed by outreach from a reservation specialist.
Members can also redeem points for stays. Redemptions currently start at 15,000 points per bedroom, per night, with additional tiers at 30,000 and 45,000 points. A 5,000-point tier is expected to become available as the collection grows. The tier depends on the nightly rate per bedroom, and not all properties will qualify.
Redemptions are booked through Wyndham Rewards Member Services at least 60 days in advance. They cover the base rate only and exclude taxes, cleaning fees and other mandatory charges.
The collection is made possible through new relationships with independent property management and hospitality partners, including Brightwild, Simpson Travel, StayTerra and Thousand Trails. “Homes & Havens is one more step in creating a fully immersive travel rewards experience, one designed to meet members wherever their journey takes them,” said Michael Shiwdin of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
The launch comes amid continued demand for vacation rentals, particularly for trips where family and friends want more room to gather. According to research from Phocuswright, about 30% of U.S. leisure travelers stayed in a short-term rental on their most recent trip. Homes & Havens joins other recent Wyndham Rewards additions, including Wyndham Rewards Insider, a refreshed lineup of Wyndham Rewards Earner credit cards and Wyndham Rewards Experiences, which offers access to live sports, music and festivals.
