The Restaurant at Weekapaug Inn in Rhode Island will offer a special three-course Pink Menu throughout October to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The dining initiative will run Sunday through Thursday each week at the resort’s main dining venue.
Ten percent of all proceeds from every Pink Menu sold will be donated to the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation to support breast cancer research efforts. The three-course prix fixe dinner is priced at $95 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
Created by Executive Chef Gerardo Viejo and his culinary team, the menu choices emphasize seasonal ingredients. Appetizer choices include an endive and arugula salad with Pink Lady apples, ahi tuna tiradito with pink grapefruit leche de tigre, and a salt-roasted beet and carrot dish.
Entrees on the featured menu include pan-seared scallops with beet puree, heritage chicken with roasted grapes, and crispy-skin salmon served with beurre rouge. For dessert, guests can select between a raspberry Macaron Framboise or a blood orange sorbet served with fresh berries.
The special menu will be offered alongside The Restaurant’s regular dinner menu throughout the month. The Weekapaug Inn is located at 25 Spray Rock Road in Weekapaug, with reservations recommended for dinner guests.
