Musician Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews and his band Orleans Avenue have announced a new run of fall 2026 tour dates across the South and East Coast. The tour features performances rooted in New Orleans brass traditions mixed with funk, soul, R&B, and rock.
The newly added itinerary includes concert stops across Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, and New Hampshire. Texas-raised singer-songwriter Abraham Alexander will join the group as a special guest on select dates.
The new dates join previously scheduled performances in Oklahoma, Alabama, South Carolina, and New Jersey. The tour highlights a performance at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on October 23, where the band shares the bill with Mavis Staples.
The group is known for live performances led by Andrews that blend funk, soulful R&B, jazz improvisation, and rock. Their shows reflect the musical heritage and energy of New Orleans street parades.
Artist presales for the new performance dates begin Wednesday, July 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Local venue presales follow on Thursday, July 23, with tickets opening to the general public on Friday, July 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
