The Cape Playhouse will present its annual honors award to the Bilezikian Family Foundation and the Forest Foundation during its upcoming summer gala. The fundraising event, titled Spirit of Summer Celebrating 99 Years of Theatre, Tradition, and Cape Cod Summers, is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The ceremony will take place directly on the playhouse grounds in Dennis, Massachusetts. Both philanthropic organizations are being recognized for providing financial support and capital investments to arts and cultural initiatives across Cape Cod.
The Bilezikian Family Foundation funded a new state-of-the-art staging rigging system for the venue. This production upgrade modernized the technical capabilities and enhanced safety parameters for the oldest professional summer theater in the country.
The Forest Foundation provided capital project funding dedicated to the physical preservation of the landmark and the renewal of its grounds. These initiatives included a full renovation of the main theater entrance ahead of the organization’s upcoming centennial.
All proceeds raised during the annual gala will directly fund the playhouse’s operational mission. The generated revenue supports ongoing professional theatrical productions and regional youth education opportunities.
