Paul McCartney released his new studio album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, today through MPL and Capitol Records. The 14-track project is McCartney’s first solo album in more than five years.

The material focuses on personal memories, childhood experiences in post-war Liverpool, and early experiences with George Harrison and John Lennon before the rise of the Beatles. The album includes newly inspired love songs alongside introspective tracks reflecting on his parents. Mary McCartney photographed the album artwork and promotional imagery.

The full track listing consists of “As You Lie There,” “Lost Horizon,” “Days We Left Behind,” “Ripples in a Pond,” “Mountain Top,” “Down South,” “We Two,” “Come Inside,” “Never Know,” “Home to Us,” “Life Can Be Hard,” “First Star of the Night,” “Salesman Saint,” and “Momma Gets By.” A digital video features McCartney in conversation with actor Paul Mescal to accompany the release.

Independent record shops across the country will hold listening parties from May 29 through May 31. These events will offer promotional items, including postcard giveaways featuring photos from McCartney’s personal archive, tote bags with a purchase, and a raffle for a canvas print.

A limited-edition silver vinyl press of the album will also be sold exclusively at these local release events. The album is currently available for purchase and streaming on all standard platforms.
