Paramount+ has released the official trailer and key art for the upcoming fourth season of the original series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The new installment of the science fiction franchise will consist of 10 episodes in total.

The fourth season is scheduled to premiere globally on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Following the initial premiere date, individual episodes will become available on a weekly basis each Thursday through September 24.

The plot of the fourth season follows the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise under the leadership of Captain Christopher Pike. The storyline involves travel to various destinations while the crew members face external challenges, inner struggles, new characters, recurring individuals, and alien threats.

The returning main cast for the upcoming season includes Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn. The television production also features guest star appearances by Carol Kane and Paul Wesley.

The entertainment companies CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment are producing the project. Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers are acting as the co-showrunners for the series, while also serving as executive producers alongside a larger production team.

Ahead of the upcoming premiere date, previous episodes of the series remain accessible on the streaming service. The first three full seasons of the show are currently available to stream globally on Paramount+.
