Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, has unveiled a new chapter for COAST, its Forbes Five-Star restaurant. The restaurant is now open in a newly renovated dining room within the resort and offers a more flexible approach to its tasting-menu experience.

Under Group Executive Chef Terence Feury, diners can choose a three-course menu for $155, a four-course menu for $185, or the Chef’s Tasting for $245. Savory and vegetarian options are available, so each meal can be tailored while keeping the creativity and precision COAST is known for.

“This evolution gives guests more choice without losing the spirit of COAST,” Feury said. “Whether they join us for three courses or place the evening entirely in the kitchen’s hands, the experience remains rooted in exceptional ingredients, thoughtful technique and the rhythm of the season.”

The menu changes with the seasons and draws on ingredients from local farms and select purveyors. Current selections include cured heirloom tomato with roasted watermelon and cured oyster, foie gras torchon with cocoa nib, porcini and sour cherry, and lobster poached in white chocolate with braised salsify and Comté Grand Cru. Main courses include American Wagyu strip loin with black garlic, green asparagus and soubise, while desserts include elderflower and lemon crémeux and honey pavlova with melon “gazpacho.” Selections are subject to change based on availability.

The renovated dining room takes its cues from the resort’s coastal setting. A palette of sea-glass blue and ivory runs across paneled walls, a glossy beadboard ceiling and powder-blue channel-tufted banquettes, with botanical drapery adding notes of blush, green and coral. Brass curtain rods, pale wood floors, and large windows framing views of the Atlantic complete the space.

COAST is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:30 to 9 p.m., and reservations are recommended. The restaurant welcomes guests ages 8 and older, and resort-elegant attire is requested. Reservations and information are available by calling 401-584-7053 or visiting oceanhouseri.com.
