Papa Gino’s is bringing back its limited-time Jack-O’-Lantern Pizza for Halloween week. The pumpkin-shaped pizza will be available Sunday, Oct. 25, through Saturday, Oct. 31, at more than 75 locations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut.
The pizza is topped with pepperoni that outlines a smiling jack-o’-lantern face, with black olives for the eyes. Each one is served large and uncut to keep the design intact.
“Halloween is all about fun and surprises, and as New England’s beloved hometown pizzeria since 1961, we love helping families celebrate,” said Hannah Suits, brand director at Papa Gino’s. “Our Jack-O’-Lantern Pizza is an easy and delicious way to add instant holiday fun to Halloween festivities all week long. It turns an everyday pizza night into a memorable tradition.”
The pizza can be ordered for dine-in, carryout or delivery. Customers can order online at papaginos.com, through the Papa Gino’s app or at any participating location. It is available only during Halloween week.
Papa Gino’s was founded in 1961 in East Boston and says it still uses recipes brought over from Italy. The company makes its dough fresh each day in Walpole, Massachusetts, from locally milled hard winter wheat flour, water, yeast, salt and oil.
The sauce is made with California-grown crushed tomatoes, and each pizza includes a three-cheese blend. Papa Gino’s is the official pizza of New England and Drake Maye.
