Singer, songwriter, and producer Nelly Furtado has released the Loose 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, celebrating two decades since the premiere of her third studio album. The release is available as an expanded digital edition across streaming platforms alongside a limited-edition 2LP Red & White Vinyl set featuring signed artwork lithographs.
Originally released on June 7, 2006, Loose was produced alongside Timbaland and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and achieved 3x Platinum certification in the United States, producing hit singles such as “Promiscuous,” “Maneater,” and “Say It Right.”
The 28-track digital collection includes 10 bonus recordings from the Loose era. Among the additions are three previously unreleased demos titled “Move Me,” “I Am,” and “Weak,” a secret demo version of “All Good Things (Come To An End),” and the tracks “Gaslight” and “Te Lo Doy” featuring Villano Antillano and Lido Pimienta.
The deluxe release also features four newly reimagined acoustic versions of the album’s single tracks, recorded in collaboration with classical piano soloist Adam Tendler. Captured in single improvisational takes using only piano and vocals, the new recordings update “Say It Right,” “Promiscuous,” “Maneater,” and “All Good Things (Come To An End).”
These new acoustic arrangements follow previous revisitations of the album’s music, including a series of “Say It Right” electronic remixes released last year by producers Deborah De Luca, Adana Twins, Rinzen, and Nala.
