Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist Molly Tuttle has released So Long Little Miss Sunshine (Acoustic EP) via Nonesuch Records. The new release serves as a companion EP to her 2025 album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine.
Recorded with touring bandmates Vanessa McGowan and Mary Meyer and produced by Steve Berns, the acoustic project strips back five tracks from the original LP. The track listing features “The Highway Knows,” “Easy,” “Old Me (New Wig),” “Story of My So-Called Life,” and “Rosalee.”
The release follows several major award recognitions for Tuttle, including a 2026 Grammy Award nomination for Best Americana Album for So Long Little Miss Sunshine. Her lead single “That’s Gonna Leave A Mark” earned a nomination for Best Americana Performance and spent four weeks at #1 on Americana Radio while reaching #13 on the AAA chart.
Tuttle has also been nominated for Artist of the Year at the 2026 Americana Awards, with the ceremony scheduled for Sept. 16 in Nashville. Additionally, she is nominated for Guitar Player of the Year at the 2026 IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards, an honor she previously won in 2017 and 2018, with winners set to be announced on Oct. 22.
The original So Long Little Miss Sunshine album explores themes of self-acceptance and reinvention, incorporating elements of pop, country, rock, and flat-picking guitar work. The album’s cover features Tuttle in various wigs along with one bareheaded image, referencing her lifelong journey with alopecia areata since age three.
Following a television appearance on CBS Saturday with Anthony Mason, a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! re-airs tonight on ABC. Tuttle and her band will remain on tour for the majority of the remainder of the year, performing a mix of headline show dates and festival appearances.
