Animazing Gallery at Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is hosting a special exhibition and sale featuring artwork celebrating the legacy of Pink Floyd. The exhibition will run from October 16 through November 2 in Las Vegas.
The exhibition highlights original artwork and limited editions by sculptor Ginger Gilmour, former wife of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour. It also features work by Gerald Scarfe, known for his imagery on The Wall, and Storm Thorgerson, who designed album covers for The Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle, Atom Heart Mother, and Wish You Were Here.
Featured pieces include signed limited edition prints of Gerald Scarfe’s Marching Hammers and The Scream, alongside original production artwork from the animated film The Wall. Scarfe also created two custom hand-painted guitars for the exhibition, built by the Lynn Ellsworth custom shop.
The exhibition opens with a private VIP collectors’ event on Friday, October 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. A public opening takes place Saturday, October 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with attending artists including Ginger Gilmour, Mel Balatbat, Randy Martinez, Dale Benson, and Nancy Elhallak.
Animazing Gallery operates within the Grand Canal Shoppes, displaying contemporary art and specialized pop culture collections. Additional participating artists featured in the exhibition include John Douglas.
