Cousins Maine Lobster San Antonio is taking its food truck on a six-day tour across South Texas from Oct. 21 to 26. The truck will make limited-time stops in Del Rio, Laredo, McAllen, Brownsville and Victoria.
The route starts in San Antonio and heads west to Del Rio, then south to Laredo. It continues through the Rio Grande Valley to McAllen and Brownsville and ends in Victoria on the Gulf Coast. The team will serve food at local breweries, shopping centers and community gathering spots in each city.
The menu includes three lobster rolls: the Maine Roll, served chilled with mayo; the Connecticut Roll, served warm with butter and lemon; and the Garlic Butter Roll, finished with garlic, Parmesan and herbs. The truck will also offer the brand’s new Lobster Roll Flight, clam chowder, lobster tacos and whoopie pies.
Lindsay Herberger, director of franchise development, said the San Antonio team wants to meet communities along the route. The San Antonio team leads the tour, which reflects the brand’s approach of using limited-time pop-ups to build interest in new markets.
