Meet Boston has announced the return of the second annual Boston Frostival, running from December 2026 through April 2027. The citywide winter festival features a lineup of seasonal outdoor activities, culinary programs, and cultural attractions across Boston.
The festival opens with holiday drone shows on Boston Common, featuring two 15-minute aerial displays per night on Saturdays in December. The performances are presented in partnership with Magic 106.7 and highlight regional landmarks and traditions.
The event series continues in the new year with The Frostival Lodge in Copley Square, furnished by Wayfair and running from January 22 through February 28, 2027. This venue hosts a full bar, tea service, wine tastings, trivia events, author readings, sports broadcasts, and weekly culinary demonstrations by The Catered Affair.
An outdoor 75-foot Ferris wheel will operate on the Rose Kennedy Greenway from February 1 through April 25, 2027, providing panoramic views of the city. Additional winter programming includes Dine Out Boston, neighborhood light displays, ice skating, theater performances, and sporting events at TD Garden.
Meet Boston operates as the regional tourism organization coordinating the festival’s program calendar and promotional travel packages. Visitors can access further details regarding local hotel accommodations and event schedules through the official organization website.
