The Long Island Wine & Food Classic will return to Farmingdale State College on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026. The all-inclusive event features samplings from more than 25 restaurants alongside selections from over 20 beverage companies, including local vineyards, craft breweries, and spirit producers.
The festival paused in 2025 while the college campus was rented for Ryder Cup-related use. For its 2026 return, the event will take place under an 80-foot-by-200-foot tent, offering guests unlimited food and beverage tastings as well as entertainment included with admission.
Chef Eric LeVine, operator of local dining spots 317 Main Street and Vico Costiera Amalfitana, is leading the culinary curation for the festival. The lineup will showcase established restaurants, emerging chefs, and specialty food purveyors from across Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Entertainment will be hosted by DJ CHEF, a Cutthroat Kitchen champion who integrates live DJ sets with interactive culinary demonstrations. Beyond serving as the event venue, Farmingdale State College will involve its students and alumni through hands-on learning experiences alongside industry professionals in culinary, hospitality, and event production fields.
A portion of the net proceeds from the festival will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to assist injured first responders, military service members, and their families.
