Whataburger has announced a month-long anniversary promotion in August to mark 76 years since the company was founded in 1950 by Harmon Dobson. The special offers will be available exclusively through the Whataburger App for registered Whataburger Rewards members.
The core event takes place on National Whataburger Day on Saturday, Aug. 8. On that day, rewards members can access a buy one, get one free Whataburger entree offer between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time at participating locations. Participating restaurants will also feature orange-carpet photo setups, selfie stations, and balloons for the occasion.
Alongside the Aug. 8 deal, the chain is introducing weekly 76-cent menu offers on every Wednesday during the month. The schedule begins Aug. 5 with a 76-cent Taquito with Cheese entree from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a 16-ounce Whatafresher for 76 cents on Aug. 12 between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The Wednesday deals continue Aug. 19 with a 76-cent Big Ranch Wrap entree from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The final scheduled promotion takes place Aug. 26, featuring a 76-cent Signature Chicken Sandwich entree from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
All promotional deals are limited to one redemption per account per offer and must be processed through the brand’s mobile application. Customers who download the app and establish a new account also automatically receive a free Whataburger while earning points on menu purchases.
