HGTV and Crunch Fitness have announced a monthlong partnership titled Totally ’90s Build to celebrate the upcoming premiere of the network’s new television series, Totally ’90s House. The collaboration runs from August 15 through September 15 and includes a free public event in New York City alongside throwback classes at 30 Crunch Signature clubs.
The new six-episode competition series premieres Wednesday, August 26 on HGTV and streams the following day on HBO Max. Hosted by Jaleel White, the show features two teams of 1990s television actors competing to renovate dated homes while preserving retro design details.
Participating cast members include Brian Austin Green, Beverley Mitchell, and Jodie Sweetin competing against Melissa Joan Hart, Matthew Lawrence, and Keshia Knight Pulliam. Design mentors Carter Oosterhouse and Sabrina Soto assist the teams as they compete to win $25,000 for their selected charity.
The fitness partnership begins August 15 at NYC DOT’s Summer Streets event at the Astor Place Rest Stop in New York City. Crunch Fitness instructors will lead a series of free public classes from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., featuring themed aerobics, dance, kickboxing, and step workouts.
Starting August 24, the special programming expands to 30 Crunch Signature club locations in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami. Non-members can access a three-day trial to attend the classes, while additional themed workouts will be available digitally on the CRUNCH+ streaming platform.
