Grahame Lesh & Friends will host Mardi Gras at Bill Graham, a one-night concert event on February 6, 2027, at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The lineup includes Warren Haynes, Neal Francis, Cyril Neville, John Molo, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, with additional guest artists to be announced.
The concert continues a long-standing Mardi Gras tradition within the Grateful Dead community, referencing the band’s Bay Area shows from the 1980s and 1990s as well as Phil Lesh & Friends performances in the 2000s. The event aims to honor the musical connection between Bay Area musicians and New Orleans traditions through festive stage collaborations.
Alongside the concert announcement, Lesh released the new single “Jupiter,” which features lyrics by Robert Hunter based on an unfinished concept from Phil Lesh’s 2001 Planet Jams. The track will appear on the forthcoming Grahame Lesh & Friends five-track album Vol. 2 – Juno, which releases December 4 on Bandcamp and select physical formats.
Local venue presale tickets open Wednesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. The general public ticket sale begins Friday, October 30, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, with details provided on the artist’s website.
Lesh, a Marin County-based guitarist and founding member of Midnight North, also begins a national tour this week with performances starting in Boston and Nantucket. His past work includes frequent collaborations with Phil Lesh & Friends, the Terrapin Family Band, and various community music projects originating from the former Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael, California.
