Pop-punk artist Games We Play, the project of singer-songwriter Emmyn, released his latest single, “The Worst Thing I’ve Ever Done,” last week. The track, which features upbeat piano and group vocals, serves as a public acknowledgment of a significant personal mistake and is addressed to the artist’s daughter, Wednesday.

The song marks a shift toward more introspective territory for the artist, who is known for blending high-octane pop-punk with humor. In this release, Emmyn explores the emotional weight of a long-term relationship conflict through a contrasting, theatrical sound.

“This song is about messing up in my life long relationship,” Emmyn said. “I thought it would be ironic to talk about my deepest regret in the most showtunes/silly sounding song I could make.”

The single follows the release of “Is This What I’m Made Of” and serves as a preview for a forthcoming full-length album due out this summer. The new body of work reportedly focuses on themes of self-examination, burnout, and identity, following a period in 2025 where the songwriter nearly stepped away from the project to recalibrate his creative intentions.

Games We Play recently completed a “free house tour,” which featured performances in unconventional venues such as CrossFit gyms, coffee shops, and skate shops. The artist is now scheduled to join the 2026 Summer School Tour, sponsored by Hot Topic and idobi Radio. The nationwide run begins June 19 in San Diego and includes a lineup featuring Honey Revenge, South Arcade, Winona Fighter, and Chase Petra.

Since its inception, the Games We Play project has amassed more than 72 million streams and 150 million views on TikTok. Emmyn has previously toured alongside major alternative acts including Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, and YUNGBLUD. Full tour dates and tickets for the upcoming summer performances are available on the artist’s official website.
